Amanda Leanne began reading at a very young age and has been writing since grade school. She is a prolific reader, book collector, writer, and artist with an interest in all aspects of creative works. Originally pursuing a life in the fields of forensic and neurological psychology and behavioral sciences, her education and career were cut short by her failing health. Although suffering from many medical issues and disabilities, she uses her writing as a way to mentally escape the trappings of her bed and body. Amanda is also part of the LGBTQ+ community. She currently lives with her spouse, her son, and their felines in the mountains of Northern Alabama. Her fictional stories delve into mystery, thrillers, eerie tales, science fiction, and paranormal worlds with a heavy emphasis on the dark psychological aspects of people, nightmares, life, and death.
