Fight Like Final Girls Thriller Series is a joint project by multiple authors to make a series of short stories with the same theme.

SOS Sirens of Survival is about a reality show where they are down to the last 5 contestants and the final challenges take place during a 10 day period where all crew and assistants leave the island and the women must fend for themselves. But things quickly start turning sour as one woman disappears and then another dies of mysterious circumstances. It isn’t a game anymore, because no one needs the prize money if their dead.

From Dark Waters and Woods is Going ByeBye

For those that don’t know, this book was written and then released during and in between some difficult times with my health that led to several major surgeries in a very short time frame. The last half was rushed, the editing was rushed, there were issues with the cover being too dark on release, and it ultimately is a mess and definitely my biggest mar on the market.

So what am I going to do? I am pulling it, unpublishing it and putting it back on the anvil to get a heavy duty makeover and cleanup and then it will be released under a new name with a note about it being a re-release. There will be opportunities to download the new one for free when it is released and opportunities to win a free signed copy as well as purchase your own copies.

Thank you for everyone that has helped me and supported me and I apologize to any who were disappointed by this release.

Sever the Circle, Indie Brawl Intentions

Sever the Circle isn’t like many of the modern horror that is more common in the genre presently, instead it hearkens back to the times when the scratch of a quill against rough parchment sets the tone for a dark, atmospheric tale. The inky unease seeps into the story, twisting and turning the world as it falls apart for both the main character and the reader. For the most part, the unexpected twist has blown many a mind and left readers churning long after finishing that last line.

If you are in the Books of Horror community, you may be familiar with the Indie Author Brawl…or perhaps not, as this is only the 2nd annual Indie Author Brawl. It is a competition in which indie/self published authors enter one of their books in hopes of being voted one of the top 32 to go into the brawl. From there, brackets are set and voting begins.

This brawl, Sever the Circle has been entered. I don’t have a lot in the way of expectations, but I can’t know without at least trying. I also plan to enter the Indie Author Compilation/Anthology Brawl later this year with Mind the Mirrors.
